Nicolas – Research Briefing: Servitization in a post-pandemic world…

  1. servitization has nothing to do with pandemic – its an independent tool to get closer to customer (binding)
  2. servitization is most successfull when including the entire value chain. This means its not just about the service portion but accross sales and service. 
  3. I was surprised to see customer pull as main driver for offering servitization. In our young industry this does not seem to be the case. 
  4. I totaly aggree that is takes between 1-2 years to get it going if there is dedicated team for it
  5. Also I agree that it is not for all customer base
  6. Having data to mitigate the higher risk that comes with servitization is key.
